• Reservation Process:
  • We operate with limited capacity, to confirm your reservation:
    • Boarding: Full payment is required 21 days before your scheduled drop-off day.
    • Daycare: Full payment is required 3 days before your scheduled visit.
• Cancellation and Refund Policy:
  • Boarding:
    Cancellations made 14 days or more before drop-off are refundable, less a cancellation fee equal to one night’s rate.
    Cancellations made within 14 days of drop-off are non-refundable but will be credited toward a future stay (valid for 6 months), less one night’s fee.
  • Daycare:
    Cancellations made 24 hours or more before drop-off are fully refundable.
    Cancellations made within 24 hours are credited toward a future visit (valid for 6 months), less a $30 late cancellation fee.
• Early Pick-Up Policy:
  • Because our boarding capacity is limited and we may turn away other clients to hold your spot, payment for the full reserved stay is non-refundable if you choose to pick up your dog earlier than scheduled.
• Additional Charges:
  • The final balance, encompassing any additional charges such as food, supplements, pet supplies, furniture damage, or cleaning fees, is due one day before the scheduled pick-up.

We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off for your pup. The fee is based on the distance to your location and the time needed for the round trip.

This means shorter trips cost less, and longer trips cost a bit more. On average, most local pick-ups or drop-offs are around $15–$20 each way.

• Spacious Setting: Our house is nestled on a generous 8,886 sq ft lot, providing your furry friend with ample space to roam and play.
• Outdoor Bliss: The backyard features two cozy patios with curtains for sunbathing and bird watching. There's also a grassy area in both the back and front yards for those essential nature breaks.
• Fruitful Play: Along the side slope, they'll discover various fruit trees, including avocado, lemon, peach, apple, and pomegranate trees. Your pet is welcome to lend a paw in tending to these delicious trees. For safety, we've set up a gate to limit access to the slope.
• Pool Playtime: Is your dog a water lover? Our pool is at their disposal. While we don't have a pool fence, rest assured, we closely supervise your pet during their aquatic adventures.
• Cozy Gatherings: Inside, our living room features a smart electric fireplace, crafting a warm and inviting ambiance enjoyable for your pets. It's also an ideal setting for capturing adorable snapshots of your furry friend!
• Snooze-Friendly: Two comfy sectional couches provide perfect spots for your pets to snooze and snuggle with us. Additionally, we offer a variety of dog beds and blankets for their comfort, including one large and two XL beds for your pet's relaxation.
• Royal Treatment: With our grooming services (based on availability, at an extra cost), your pets can earn the privilege of jumping onto and sleeping on the queen bed in our guest room.
  

• Please note that pets are limited to the lower level of the house to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all. 
• We kindly request that our furry guests are housebroken and do their business outside to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone. (If your pet has a history of urinary tract issues resulting in incontinence, please let us know in advance. Failure to notify us about such a medical condition, which may lead to excessive urination inside the house, will result in a $35 cleaning fee per day. Rest assured, we ensure regular outdoor breaks every 3-4 hours throughout the day, with the last potty break at around 10pm)
• Additionally, crates are used for overnight boarding, with soft and clean bedding that guarantees a cozy and secure restful environment.

We value crate training and consider the crate to be a secure den for dogs. Our own dog, Thumper, finds comfort in his crate, often choosing to waltz in there by himself around 11pm. Even when the crate's door is opened in the morning, he would snooze in there until the sound of the yard door signals potty break time. Even supper becomes an enjoyable affair in his crate!

It's essential to understand that we don't use crates as a form of punishment. Throughout the day, your pet will have unrestricted access to the house, and we ensure regular potty breaks and playful sessions in the backyard. We're happy to assist in teaching your pet the "place" command, fostering a positive relationship with their crate. 

If your pet isn't crate trained or if you're not comfortable with the idea, we may not be the best fit for your needs.

• Parks: Just a 3-minute drive to Carlton Peterson Park, 5 minutes to Sycamore Canyon Park, 6 minutes to Pantera Park, 11 minutes to Summitridge Park, and 11 minutes to Snow Creek Park in Walnut. We also love to explore larger parks in nearby cities. A change of scenery means new scents, which provide extra mental stimulation and enrichment for your pup.
  
• Activities: Your furry friend will enjoy a variety of supervised activities tailored to their age, personality, and energy level. Days may include social play, backyard zoomies, multiple fetching sessions throughout the day, tug of war, flirt pole, obedience practice (Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Wait), learning new tricks, sniffing adventures, meeting new friends, and relaxing cuddle time. Neighborhood walks and park visits may also be provided depending on your dog's individual needs, weather, and overall safety.
  We firmly believe a happy dog is one that is physically active, mentally stimulated, and comfortably tired at the end of the day. Your pet's stay may also include access to a variety of toys, lounging on cozy beds throughout the home, live piano concerts performed by me, pool sessions during the summer months (weather and safety permitting), sunbathing by the pool, zooming around in the backyard, helping water the trees, Cod-Skins & Greenie Chew Parties, and much more!
  
• Pool Sessions (Summer Add-On): During the warmer months, your pup can enjoy a supervised pool session for extra fun and exercise. Sessions typically last 15–20 minutes. Some dogs love swimming laps and retrieving toys from the water, while others prefer splashing around or hanging out in the shallow area.   There will always be a responsible adult in the water with your dog or closely supervising poolside throughout the entire session. Dogs are never left unattended in or around the pool.
  
  Not all dogs enjoy swimming, and that's completely okay. We never force a dog into the water.
  
  After the session, we'll towel dry your pup as much as possible and allow them to air dry naturally. If you'd prefer your dog to go home fresh and fluffy, we can also arrange an exit bath or grooming session before pick-up for an additional fee.
  
  Pool Session Add-On: $25 per session (15–20 minutes).
  
• Hiking: For dogs that love to hike, we also offer hiking activities at an additional cost. You can find more details in the Hiking & Extra Walks section.
  
• Local Excursions: For pet parents who want their dogs to enjoy even more adventure, we offer local excursions at an additional cost. These outings give your pup a chance to explore new environments, enjoy fresh air, and experience extra enrichment beyond the staycation.You can find more details in the Local Excursions section.
  
• Food & Treats: Our canine guests are treated to high-quality, real meat treats! We pamper our dogs with fresh, home-cooked proteins such as pork, sardine, smelt, cod, duck, and rabbit, which are mixed with nutritious kibbles, raw goat milk, raw quail eggs, and air-dried chews and bones purchased from Real Dog Box. Your pet can join in on this culinary adventure, and we're more than happy to share.
  
• Snoozing: While relaxing, your dog will be serenaded by soothing classical piano music, either through music streaming or, if they're lucky, a live concert!

• Grand View Trail: (Moderate to Hard) Located adjacent to the Diamond Bar City Center, Summitridge Park offers the scenic Grand View Trail for our hiking excursions. Large grassy areas are available in both the lower and upper parking lots.
• Sycamore Canyon Park: (Easy to Moderate) Another fantastic location for our hiking adventures, Sycamore Canyon Park promises an enriching outdoor experience.
• Steep Canyon Trail: (Hard to Extreme) This trail features a super long, elevated, challenging staircase at the beginning of the hike, with ups and downs throughout.
• Pantera Park Hiking Trail: (Hard to Extreme) This trail includes lots of stairs and a large grassy area before the trail starts.
• Snow Creek Park: (Easy to Moderate) Features a scenic creek with ducks and a variety of birds.

Get ready for an action-packed pet adventure! Our hikes guarantee a minimum distance of 1 mile per hour, and we bring along an array of toys and training tools (such as a 50-foot long leash) to make it truly thrilling. Think fetching, refreshing water breaks, and loads of mental stimulation. Plus, we can even incorporate obedience training to amp up the excitement. It's not just a hike; it's a tail-wagging, paw-tapping adventure your pet will love!

• We utilize the MapMyRun app to track distance, duration, and elevation, ensuring your pet's safety, satisfaction, and your peace of mind. The walk/hike summary will be shared with you.
• You can choose to have us loop on grassy areas to keep your pet clean and free of debris.
  

Our Recommendation:

To ensure your pet enjoys the full benefits of hiking, we strongly suggest booking a 2-hour hike. Consider booking a hiking & long walk trip per 7 days of stay-cation. A tired dog is a happy dog!

• Hiking activities are subject to availability, so we strongly recommend making advance reservations.
• Please note that we will not take your pets to any off-leash dog parks as accidents are unpredictable.

Huntington Dog Beach - $120/day

Treat your pup to the ultimate SoCal beach adventure! For $120 a day, your dog will enjoy sunshine, fresh ocean air, and plenty of playtime — from fetching by the waves to strolling along the sandy shoreline. To finish the day, we provide a quick rinse at home with a towel dry, so your pup comes back happy, sandy paws free, and ready to relax.

Lebec Airbnb Farm Stay – $235 + Airbnb cost
Treat your pup to a unique farm stay adventure that includes an overnight stay and a full day of exploration. Your dog will enjoy vast open spaces, hiking opportunities, and the chance to meet friendly farm animals—llamas, guanacos, chickens, peacocks, farm dogs, camels, horses, donkeys, ostriches, and more—all while soaking in fresh country air and wide-open skies.

The trip to the farm takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes each way, with planned park stops for potty breaks and stretch time. Perfect for pups who thrive on new sights, scents, and experiences, this outing provides both physical activity and mental enrichment, ensuring your dog returns home happy, relaxed, and fulfilled.
